ARCHITECTURAL REQUIREMENTS

The CC&Rs prohibit architectural changes without approval of the Association.  If you have a proposed change, you must submit a request on the appropriate form.  The form is available in two formats:  as a pdf to print out and complete by hand, or as a MS Word document that you can save to your computer and then complete online.

PAINT COLOR REQUIREMENTS:

The Architectural Review Committee approved paint colors for exterior use.  The following Sherwin Williams colors (or any other company's equivalent colors) may be used:

* NOTE:  New Navajo can be used for either the stucco body or the trim/accent - not both.  Trim and/or accent color (from the approved list above) must be a contrasting color from t he stucco body.  You can view a color sample brochure at any Sherwin Williams store.  You do NOT have to use Sherwin Williams, but if you do, the store at 11938-A Hesperia Rd in Hesperia, 760-949-4941, will give you a slight discount if you mention that you live in Jasmine Street HOA.

Special Note regarding sheds:  In September, 2005, the Board of Directors voted to approve the installation of sheds, subject to the following restrictions:

  1. the shed may not be placed in that zone consisting of the side yard and extending from the side yard to the rear property line; and
  2. the shed height may not exceed one foot above the existing, conforming block wall or fence.  You may not alter a fence to achieve a greater height.

Pyracantha species, Pyracantha, a hardy, evergreen shrub with cream white flowers in spring and numerous colorful red berries through the fall and winter. Grows 5 - 12 feet high and wide. Stems are quite thorny. Use as a screen, on a fence, or as a spreading groundcover. Full sun. Can freeze back during High Desert winters.
